This Sunday is the last Sunday of the series “Now: God is Moving.” Suzanne Graves will be sharing how she has experienced freedom through sharing her story and confession.
Throughout this series, we’ve seen the power of sharing our own story. Because individuals were willing to share what God is doing, each Sunday the entire SoHills family has been challenged. At least I have been. I’ve been challenged to be the church. I’ve examined where I’m making God small by seeking my own kingdom. I’ve taken steps to adjust my thinking and reside in God’s peace. I’ve considered where I’m lacking in obedience because I choose personal comfort over suffering for Christ.
Stories are powerful, but they can only do so much when we keep them to ourselves.
Who can you share your story with this week? Does a co-worker need to hear a story of victory to know there is hope? Does a family member need to hear a story of provision to be reminded God is faithful? Is a neighbor in need of a word about God’s compassion and grace? Don’t be shy; boast in the Lord!
As we come to the conclusion of this series on Sunday, listen to these songs to prepare your heart for what God would like to speak to your through someone else’s story.
