I enjoy rainy Sunday’s like we had this week. I love beautiful, sunshine days too, but a rainy Sunday just does something to me. It was the beginning of a new week and the rain was washing all of the dirt and messiness away from the previous week. Rain makes things new. It refreshes life and quenches our thirsty earth.
Isn’t that what our weekly worship together is like? We all come as broken, messy people and Jesus washes us clean. He makes us new. He refreshes our soul and quenches our thirst. Sure, he refreshes us through the week, but there is something special about broken people coming together to worship the Savior who has cleansed us all. Man, that’s a great feeling.
This Sunday’s message is the last in our series “Too Good To Miss Twice.” Dale will sum up the series “As You Wish,” reminding everyone that ALL relationships are built by a process of leaving, cleaving, & weaving.
